Exploring Pyramid Schemes

We all know that we want something better for ourselves and our families. Yet that all too familiar “pyramid scheme” thing is out there, causing fear and anxiety and yes, sometimes people get taken.  A friend posted the following video on my Facebook page. It’s full of dry humor, but does a pretty good job of exploring pyramid schemes.

If you are going to be successful, you need to know what to look for when you are exploring your options of available businesses. It’s easy to get caught up in the emotion of the moment and blindly jump in joining this or that business because somebody said it would be great. Learn how to analyze the business for yourself before you jump in! Really look at the opportunity and the support offered. Choose your mentors carefully. Then, and only then, JUMP!

Making a Difference

I decided it was time to start a blog that could be really random, reflecting whatever is the most important to me at the moment. I have so many interests and am working on several websites at once. The first website I’ve had for about a year and a half. The next two began as blogs; one of these is with a friend. The last one is my brother’s website; I did a fair amount of work on it and know the products are great. The websites are:

1. www.LiveAWinningLife.com – a site I started in order to develop a life coaching practice. This is an ongoing project as I grow and change.
2. www.LuvnLifeAgain.com – a site I started at Ultimate Internet Bootcamp in August 2010. The idea was to build a profitable website, but it’s turned into a site for Growing from Grief to Joy. You see, my husband died in Dec 2009 and I was definitely still in the grief mode. Kinda hard to monetize grief – really, really need to be sensitive.
3. www.FireUpYourJoy.com – a site still in development with a friend. We are both certified Passion Test Facilitators and life coaches as well as the best of friends.
4. www.NaturalIslandSkinCare.com – my brother’s site with skin care products from the island of Vanuatu.

One of the top passions which has driven my life is to make a difference in the lives of others. See my About page to learn a little bit more about me and how I’ve made a difference. Today, in the current economic climate with so many people really hurting financially, I decided to make a difference in a new way.
